It's been some time since I've written in the blog! Like you, we've been busy, not so much with WindowKitty®, but with family and work. Yep, Brian and I work full time. We are both in IT. Brian works in Healthcare IT and I am in Life Insurance IT. We have 2 to 5 boys around depending on what day of the week it is. Today starts winter break from school and we have our school-aged kids at home, along with our son who is in college. Abby (our doggy) is happy so she is not alone with the cats all day! Here is Abby with Snowball:
QVC is still going strong! We are excited to see strong sales from QVC and we hope our relationship continues.
We are happy to be a part of hauspanther's Holiday Gift Guide for Cats & Cat Lovers for 2017. We were included in the guide last year and we hope to continue. We love hauspanther! Click on the picture to check out the fantastic products and pick up a WindowKitty!!
Back in 2016 we were honored to attend CatConLA. As part of attending we've kept in touch with many of the other attendees who had booths there. Through that group we learned about HARO (Help A Reporter Out) and we were able to link up with Carol Jones who has a blog called "All Mommy Wants." She has a Holiday Gift Guide for Cats and we are excited to be featured in that! Just click on the picture to check out the products!
Finally, back in 2013/2014 when we were working with our Patent Attorney, he shared a list of pet supply companies for licensing. I wonder if we should license WindowKitty and I think it would be a great opportunity. I reached out to a licensing company, but the cost was very high and they would get a percentage and nothing was guaranteed!! So, I created my own sell sheet and sent them to all the companies that were on the list from our attorney. These were not specific for licensing, FYI. I did do some searching to verify that the information was still accurate, etc., as the list was about 3-4 years old. I was thrilled to get a response from Petsmart!! They are reviewing WindowKitty. So that is awesome in itself! I have more sell sheets to send out, which I plan to do during the holidays.
Brian and I wish everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! We are going to keep pressing forward and see what our future holds! They sky is the limit and we hope we motivate others to pursue their dreams!
